First trip Northbound. Leaving our home town Friday afternoon and having the first time ever the feeling, we did not forget anything. Yeah!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

150km later, I figure out: no swimming trunks \ud83d\ude41 well its gonna be Norway after all – so no big issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An overnight stay in Kaltenkirchen, just after Hamburg. Dinner is typical German, \u201eSchwarzbrot\u201c and \u201eSalami\u201c. We sleep super deep and wake up 7am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the road there is rain, no actually a wall of rain, so heavy, that it is 60 km\/h at some time. It rains the whole day, we see lots of accidents, one car flipped over, sitting on its ceiling. That is a tough reminder to stay awake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:00 Breakfast in Aarhus , staying on the beach , staring at a wild ocean. Just the rain, you know\u2026.Rolls, cheese, Orange juice, so nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now passing Aarlborg in Denmark, a short stop at Cafe Penny Lane, food for the soul, warm and cozy, Caffe Latte and Double Chocolate buns, yes! Outside? Rain!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our ferry leaves now at 8pm from Hirtshals and we will arrive in Bergen, Norway at 10am. So excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
