Why world trip ?
Why not ? First we moved in together, in Lüneburg, a picturesque place in Northern Germany. The winters especially are wonderfully cosy. The cold wind rushes past the small windows and you can drink tea and eat cookies without cold drafts or even wet feet. An ideal place to prepare a trip around the world.
It started in 1997 and lasted almost two years. Since then, staying at home has been a real challenge. That’s why we just keep traveling.
We are currently preparing our next van adventure.

Travel Blog
In our Travel Blog we report about our travels, exciting places, interesting people. Whenever possible, we are on the road and look for something new. After we made our first trip around the world in 1997, the second one followed in 2000. Then the trips became shorter in time with our kids together. But the best is yet to come!
Our Journeys
We share a picture story of our experiences about our two trips around the world. In two years we have seen some parts of the world, far from having seen it all. We hope to encourage others to take their backpacks and discover new things.
