After a wonderful time in Michigan, it is time to head to the west. We will meet friends in Calgary and Seattle. A long way ahead of us, through several provinces in Canada.

Elk Island NP, a place to see buffalos, very close. We see a beaver dam as well.
Rocky Mountain Youth Hostel, afraid of bears, we sleep indoors.
Winter is coming. Snow flakes and frosty winds are kicking in.
We pick up another friend in Calgary. Mireille from Lüneburg is with us now. Four in the van. Cozy, though not everyone is embracing the cold.
