COSTA RICA

Memories of Costa Rica are all around Hospitals and that feeling of emergency in a Central American Country. We made it though and managed to get safely through Nicaragua and the capital of Costa Rica, San Jose.

We rush through Nicaragua to get into the more developed Costa Rica.

Corinna has fever, collapses suddenly in a Supermarket in Managua.

Locals help us to find a hospital once we arrive in San Jose. First a public one, but then we swap to a more modern one.

Corinna needs to stay in the Hospital, the rest of us find a cheap Hotel around the corner.

Staff in Clinica Biblia is very friendly and professional. The diagnosis points to dengue fever. It is difficult to say exactly.
Some good food and treatment and she looks better after a week. But it is clear, the trip is over – we have to fly back home. She needs to rest for 6 months or so.
After 13 months, our first world travel ends with mixed feelings for now.
