Summit Tour Two: France, Alsace

We travel now to the south, bypassing all highways, as usual. Through Adenau, Zell an der Mosel and Idar Oberstein, we finally land at Lake Gelterswoog in the forest region of „Pfalz.“

We are driving through beautiful forests and hilly valleys, really nice.

The trip takes only five days and this time, it will be the Alsace region. A German-French spot full of history, good food and wine.

A bit of technical issue we face with the Van, which looses all water at some point. A bit of duck tape does not help. A YouTube video does. Seems we had recently a cold night and the automatic „Truma control“ opened up the boiler to release all water. Good functionality to prevent ice breaking all the water hoses. Good to know how that works, no we know the hidden blue button 😉
